This product has made me look like a rock star when no other firm could figure it out. Over the years I've went back and tried other products again or new ones and still keep sticking with CompanionLink. CompanionLink has so many options, to many to detail. The few times I've needed support they were good. Many places I've set this up for use the a Public folder calendar, contacts, and tasks on their mobile device and Outlook.ĬompanionLink is not free but it is priced well. Check your spam filter - sometimes our replies get flagged and hidden. We respond to most email support requests within 24 hours, and certainly shouldnt take more than a week. Pro is only required if you need to sync with multiple databases/phones. Some leave their computer on all week 24/7 and shut them down over the weekend and are aware they would get no updates until they come in Monday and turn on their computer - those are people who don't do any Public Folder changes over the weekend. CompanionLink USB will sync Outlook with Android, and is 39.95. You don't have to leave Outlook open, your computer can be locked, but the machine does have to be turned on. The only potential issue for some is you have to leave your computer on so it can sync with your mobile device at the time interval you select. You can tell CompanionLink to sync both ways or just one way, how often, and select under "Advanced" button, "Outlook Folders" tab, then choose your public folder. The appearance can be customized and has an Outlook feel to it. This keeps those separate from the mobile devices so you don't mix calendars, contacts, etc. The CompanionLink app allows you to create shortcuts to have it's calendar, contacts, notes, and tasks accessible. Those users then install CompanionLink app on their mobile device. You can still connect your mobile device to Exchange Server to sync everything else like emails, users contacts, users calendar, etc.ĬompanionLink gets installed on each computer that needs to sync Public Folders. The best solution I've come up with is CompanionLink for Outlook ( It works with iPhones and Android.
